The National Party President Robert Kyagulanyi known by his stage name Bobi Wine says that President Museveni can be overthrown by the people even before the 2026 general elections.
Bobi Wine said this during the training of registrars before the elections because it is easy to remove Museveni before 2026.
“Let us organise our people for two things; a revolution and a revolution,” said Bobi, adding, “A revolution even before elections.”
Bobi Wine also said, “But even when 2026 comes before Museveni is kicked out, let us be ready to take him on in the polls.”
We should remember that Bobi Wine also organized a protest but only to be crushed by the security forces.
The NUP president Bobi Wine made the remarks during the launch of this party structure formation roadmap on Monday, April 29th, 2024 at their party head offices in Kampala.
This marked the starting point for NUP’s countywide tour as they mobilize the masses ahead of the 2026 general election exercise.
The launch came after a 2-day retreat for constituency registrars, district focal persons and subregional focal persons.
Bobi Wine also said that holding a party structure is not just for the coming 2026 general elections but the main aim is to remove President Museveni.
