The highly anticipated UB40 Featuring lineup Campbell show, scheduled for the 2nd of March, was officially revealed at a press conference held at Next Media Park this evening. A diverse array of Ugandan musical talents, including the renowned Bebe Cool, Vinka, Rema Namakula, Navio, Elijah Kitaka, Weasel, Vampino, the Abeeka Band, Dj Naselow, Party Pipo, and more, are set to join the iconic UB40 feat. Ali Campbell on stage.
The unveiling took place during a lively press conference at Next Media Gardens, attended by representatives from the music industry, media outlets, and the local community. Bebe Cool, known for hits like “Love You Everyday” and “Wire Wire,” expressed his excitement, stating, “It’s an honor to be part of such a prestigious event and to represent Uganda alongside UB40 feat. Ali Campbell.”
Organizers emphasized the significance of showcasing and supporting local talent on an international stage, expressing enthusiasm for the collaboration. Aly Alibhai, CEO of Talent Africa, the concert organizers, stated, “This collaboration highlights the incredible talent that exists within our community and our commitment to promoting Ugandan music on a global stage.”
