The Glazers are the current owners of Manchester United football club in England. The club is well known for it’s good history for winning most of the titles possible in England. Though the current performance of Manchester United has dropped since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson the chap man. Manchester United has therefore struggled to win trophies though they remain the most decorated club in English premier league history
However due to the poor performance currently the Manchester United fans have been questioning what could be the cause of the poor performance of the club. Some fans claimed that the two Glazer brothers have poor leadership skills and therefore can not run a team like Manchester United. This led to some fans do some rebellions so that the Glazers can either sell the club or do something else to save the club.
Manchester United have spent some good money on purchasing players on the world market though the buying of expensive players have not answered the problems of the club. Due to continously poor performance of the club, two years back the fans attacked the homes of Ed Woodward who was the chairman of the club and this led to the club dismissal of him in April 2021. This was all to calm the club fans. Though the dismissal of Ed wasn’t enough to solve the club problems.
For that case the Glazers decided to sell some shares of the club and 25% of the club was sold this year. In the Glazers statement to the selling of the club percentage
