Western Uganda has brought talented names to the music industry of Uganda. Names like Ray G, and Omega 256 among others are some of the big faces that you won’t miss out on if you are in Mbarara.
After his successful concert last year that was held in Kampala at Lugogo Cricket Oval, singer Ray G seems not to be happy with promoter Nobat Events who organized his show and now is also handling the concert for a fellow singer Omega 256 set to take place on 2nd May 2025 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
According to Nobat Events, he says that Ray G was doing everything possible to see that Omega 256 was a bad show telling people not to buy tickets for the show.
Nobat also said that this growing beef is backed by Ray G and Nobat Events has come out and called him a poisonous snake that doesn’t want you to live long.
Nobat, however, expressed his nonchalant attitude towards the threats of not attending the concert, revealing that he would be content with any number that would come through to support Omega.
“Even if the concert gets only 10 revellers who are Omega’s real supporters, they are enough for me. I do not care how many turn up,” he said.
For some time now, there have been rumours that the self-styled King and Queen of the West as named by their fans do not see eye-to-eye over the battle for supremacy.
