Miss Tourism Uganda has launched the 2025 13th edition of the pageant. The event took place at the Uganda Media Centre.
Under the theme “I am my Culture”, the 13th Edition will focus on promoting tourism and support sustainable transformation in Uganda.
This new cultural product represents a significant step toward showcasing Uganda’s rich heritage while fostering a future of economic, environmental and social sustainability.
Speaking at the lunch was the Minister of state for wild life and Antiquities Hon.Bahinduka Mugarra Martin said that as the Minister of Tourism, he thank the organizers & partners of Miss Tourism Uganda. This is a four-month journey leading to the grand crowning, and we are proud to support this initiative.
“For the first time, men are included in this journey. It’s time for young men to step up, embrace conservation, and champion tourism. We welcome all passionate and knowledgeable participants,” he said.
Miss Tourism Uganda will move into 12 regions of the country namely West Nile, Teso, Busoga, Buganda, Karamoja, Ankole, South Uganda, Fort Portal, Homia, and Northern Uganda all these in search for the 2025-2026 Miss Tourism Uganda Queen.
The grand final will then take place on the 5th of September 2025 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
