Makerere University Business School (MUBS) is set to host its highly anticipated annual Cultural Gala—a vibrant event that brings together students from diverse backgrounds to celebrate and showcase their traditions.
Organized by the Guild Government in collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Students, this year’s edition is scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2025, under the theme: “Rooted in Tradition, Growing Towards Sustainability.”
Students, alumni, and culture enthusiasts from all over are encouraged to attend this colourful festival, which promises an exciting lineup of activities, including traditional dances, drama, skits, storytelling, and a showcase of gentlemen’s cultural wear. Various cultural associations will also compete for prizes in a friendly yet spirited contest.
Adding to the excitement, Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda has promised a thrilling experience. Macklean Kukundakwe, Country Manager of Trade and Marketing, expressed excitement about the event, assuring attendees of a “magical experience” with electrifying performances from top artists like Fik Fameica and Vinka, alongside a high-energy DJ lineup.
