It is just days until the highly anticipated Blu *3 re-union concert scheduled to take place at Sheraton Hotel Gardens on June 21. This is the second time in over 10 years that the trio will be stepping on stage together, the first being at Skyz Hotel Naguru last year in an exclusive event.
Blu *3’s ‘Legends of Sound’ concert is being held courtesy of Talent Africa Group.
While at a press conference last evening at Sheraton Hotel, the trio said they would be performing all their old songs to bring back a nostalgic feeling to whoever will be attending.
It is still at this press conference that Cindy Sanyu dismissed all the concerts that have happened in Uganda before including her own.
“We haven’t had a concert with so much talent in Uganda. This is something Ugandans haven’t seen yet,” she stated.
Echoing her statement, Jackie Chandiru added that this concert is going to be special because they grew up musically. “We are all grown, vocally and performance-wise,” she said.
The iconic Ugandan girl group is set to reunite for a special one-night-only performance that will take them back to the golden era of Ugandan music. With their infectious beats and soulful melodies.
The concert promises to be a night to remember, featuring electrifying performances, special guest appearances, and a journey through BLU 3’s greatest hits. From the infectious energy of ‘Hitaji‘, and the sweet melodies of ‘Nsanyuka Nawe’ to the soulful ballads of ‘Where You Are’, BLU 3’s music continues to resonate with audiences of all ages.
“The event celebrates BLU 3’s incredible music and the lasting legacy they have left in the Ugandan music industry. It is a testament to their talent. As the official promoters and event organizers of the Blu 3 Reunion Concert, we are thrilled and honoured to bring together our passion for music with the excitement of this iconic reunion,” Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group said.
The show is sponsored by Tusker Malt Lager and Stanbic Bank who will be giving out tickets at a discount through FlexiPay.
