Eminem is now the second most profane artist after being dethroned by Drake. With 2289 curse words in his music to date, and one curse word in 45 lyrics uttered.
Drake’s most used curse word, “shit” has a total of 545 uses alone across his songs.
This study by @preply has however left many music fans unsatisfied because they see Eminem, Nicki Minaj, and J Cole as other outstanding profane artists..
During a one on one with other music listeners to see their opinions on this,, they were like “Drake uses curse words to fill spaces while Eminem is famous for not using these words to fill spaces” . Others were like “The song Kim by Eminem is more foul mouthed than Drake’s whole career.
However, there’s a massive difference in what they’re(Eminem and Drake) talking about, and the maturity level of the music, as in any kid can listen to Drake, while I personally wouldn’t have a little kid listen to Eminem’s first three albums. 😂
During the study by @preply, she ranked them according to their frequency of cursing as follows, Nicki Minaj has a total of 1612 curse words with 1in 30, J Cole with 1632 curse words with 1 in 31, Eminem has 1850 curse words with 1 in 50 and lastly Drake with 2289 curse words with 1 in 45.
