At a breakfast event themed ‘Transforming Lives and Businesses in Uganda,’ hosted at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala yesterday, dfcu Bank convened a diverse array of stakeholders, including customers, partners, employees, and community leaders, for insightful discussions and collaborative exchanges.
During the gathering, dfcu Bank reaffirmed its steadfast dedication to serving stakeholders with integrity, innovation, and excellence. Executives from the Bank’s Management and Leadership teams outlined strategic initiatives and future plans, emphasizing sustainability, digital transformation, automation, ecosystem creation, and customer-centricity.
Kate K Kiiza, dfcu’s Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, underscored the Bank’s resilience in navigating a dynamic financial landscape and reiterated its commitment to fortifying its foundation, enhancing shareholder profitability, nurturing human resource talent, and driving transformational change in Uganda.
Annette Kiconco, dfcu’s Chief Retail Banking Officer, highlighted the institution’s Customer-Centric Approach, emphasizing the paramount importance of placing customers at the core of all operations. Doreen Byaruhanga, the Bank’s Chief of Corporate and Institutional Banking, elaborated on its sector specialization strategy tailored to meet the unique needs of various industries, including Manufacturing, Trade, Education, Health, Infrastructure, Agriculture, ICT, and the Public Sector.
Margaret Karume, the Chief Credit Officer, outlined dfcu Bank’s efforts to enhance process automation and streamline credit solutions delivery, ensuring timely support for its customers. Charles Mudiwa, CEO of dfcu Bank, reiterated the Bank’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility, emphasizing its role as a responsible corporate citizen dedicated to making a positive impact on society and the environment.
