Bournemouth is a football club based in kings park. The club competes in the English premier league which is the top league in the country of England. The club was formed in 1899 making it one of the oldest teams in English premier league. It is nick named the cherries.
The club spent 35 years in the 3rd division south. They won the 3rd division south cup in 1946. However after a long struggle of the club, in 2008 they appointed Eddie Howe as there manager. In 2009/10 he helped Bournemouth to be promoted to the English premier league for the first time after finishing in the second position in the championship. However in 2010/11 the club was relegated but later was promoted again. The longest run they had in English premier league was a four year spell from 2015 to 2020. From there they were relegated again where they had to spend there 2 years and here they are back in English premier league.
The club is currently managed by Andoni Iraola who is born from Spain while the club is managed by the Brazilian international Nobert Murara Neto. Southampton is said to be the best rivals of the club however Portsmouth, Brighton, reading and leeds United are said to be the team rival. Ron Eyre is said to be the all time topscorer with 229 goals in 337 matches. Ted Mcdougall holds the record of scoring the most goals in a single season 42.
Nathaniel Ake is said to be the most expensive player Bournemouth has ever released at a record fee of £41. The club has a top record finish of finishing 9th place in the season of 2016/17.
Currently Bournemouth are 10th on the English premier league table with 25 points. This comes after Bournemouth have smashed Fulham. Bournemouth is one of the clubs on fire characterized by four wins in a row one draw in seven matches without a loss.
Bournemouth managed to grab wins from Newcastle United, Sheffield United, crystal palace, drew with aston villa, won Nottingham forest, won Fulham and not forgetting a masve win that came from old Trafford. This loss at old Trafford left a shameful loss as it was the first loss of Manchester United to Bournemouth at old Trafford.
