Renowned politician and musician Bobi Wine marked his 43rd birthday in a heartfelt and meaningful way by visiting Nkozi Hospital, the very place where he was born.
Born on February 12, 1982, during the NRA war, Bobi Wine (real name Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu) returned to the hospital to celebrate not just his own life but also to share love and joy with new mothers and babies born on the same day.
In a post shared on his social media, he reflected on his birth and expressed deep gratitude for the warm reception he received at the hospital.
On Friday, 12th February 1982, during the NRA war, I was born in Nkozi Hospital, to Margaret Nalunkuuma and JW Sentamu.
Today, I decided to visit the hospital where I was born, to share some love with the new mothers and babies who were born on the same day in the same hospital.
He went on to thank the hospital administration for their hospitality and expressed appreciation for the overwhelming birthday messages from his supporters.
I am so grateful for the kind messages and the outpouring of love from all of you, my friends. I am really humbled. May the rest of our days be the best of our days. Cheers to 43.
