Ugandan recording artist and multi-instrumentalist, Aliddeki Brian, took center stage at the prestigious Sauti za Busara Festival in Zanzibar, Tanzania, from 9th to 11th February 2024. The event, dedicated to celebrating African music and culture, witnessed Aliddeki Brian captivating the audience with his energetic and memorable performance, establishing himself as one of Africa’s fastest-rising stars on the world music scene.
On the festival’s opening night, Aliddeki performed to a full house, leaving the international crowd enthralled and eager for more. The audience danced to his songs, leading to a demand for an encore after his one-hour set. His exceptional versatility, showcased through his mastery of multiple traditional instruments, set his performance apart as one of the standout moments of the Festival.
Emerging as a semi-finalist in the Pearl of Africa Star Search, Aliddeki Brian’s unique musical style, blending traditional Ugandan rhythms, melodies, and instruments with contemporary sounds, has garnered widespread acclaim. In less than two years in the music industry, he has graced major events such as the Nyege Nyege Festival, Afropalooza Festival, Blankets & Wine Festival, World Music Day, and international tours to Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, and the DRC.
Managed by Talent Africa Group, Aliddeki Brian, accompanied by CEO Aly Allibhai and his live band, made a remarkable impression in Zanzibar, ensuring that his performance represented Uganda’s musical prowess.
