Rapper Patrick Ssenyonji, known as Fresh Kid, has secured a scholarship to continue his secondary education at Hana International School Uganda, ensuring a smooth path to completing his studies.
This milestone follows his impressive performance in the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), where he earned a top-grade with 11 points at Kampala Parents’ School.
His primary education was made possible by a scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation.
Now, Fresh Kid’s academic journey will continue at Hana International School, where he has been awarded a full six-year scholarship to complete his secondary education, up to Senior Six.
Thanks to the intervention of Hon. Nakiwala Kiyingi, Fresh Kid will be able to balance his education with his growing music career.
Under the new arrangement, he will still be permitted to perform on weekends, just as he did during his primary school years.
This achievement has garnered widespread admiration for Fresh Kid’s ability to juggle academics and music. Many have also praised Hon. Nakiwala Kiyingi for her unwavering support of young talent in Uganda.
