As UEFA rules state, Girona wont be able to play in the UEFA Champions League next season even if they qualify because they share the same ownership with man city.
Girona is a football club in spain currently owned by Delfi Geli the same owner of Manchester city football club in England.
It is therefore comfirmed by UEFA that girona will only compete in champions league only if they finish ahead of Manchester city in position.It’s that when girona falls below the citizens in their league table as in when maybe city finishes 2nd in EPL table,Girona must finish first in Laliga for them to be eligible to play but when Girona finishes lower than city in respect to their league table then they wouldn’t play even though they qualify for UCL.
Girona are currently on the top of the table in Spanish laliga Santander. Is uefa decision fair??
