As this year’s Miss Tourism Uganda takes place, the management has come out to announce new roles that will make slight changes in administration.
The Press release by Miss Tourism Uganda indicated that Mrs Kotina Akot is no longer cluster head of Northern Uganda and was replaced by Gloria Alele.
The cluster head of Kigezi Mrs Atwongyeire was replaced by Zakia Lucky and according to management, the new members will take on the roles of overseeing the regional Miss Tourism events and preparing the girls for the national pageant which is Miss Tourism Uganda.
The next Miss Tourism regional crowning for this year will take place in Northern on 29th June at Lira Hotel and Rwenzori region on July 26th.
The winners in each region will compete for the prestigious crown for Miss Tourism Uganda on September 13th at Kampala Serena Hotel. The winner will then represent Uganda at Miss Tourism International.
The reigning Miss Tourism Uganda is Nabukonde Kiyayi Ruokaya and she was crowned in September last year at the grand finale that took place at Kampala Serena Hotel.
