The 20th edition of Roast and Rhyme took place on Sunday at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo under the theme Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam.”
Just like the previous editions, this one brought together music, beer and meat in a fun-packed combo.
The 20th edition Roast and Rhyme powered by Bell Lager featured performances from the Double Black band, Abeeka Band, Vyper Ranking, King Micheal and Cindy/
Jamal sang his songs Muko Muko, Dance Hall Music, Owakabina, and Kwata Kwata among others.
During his performance, he was joined by Dr. Jose Chameleone on stage and he praised him for giving him the chance to sing with him.
“I’d like to share something with all of you, right here in front of these cameras. The chorus of the song Kwata Kwata was penned by none other than Jose Chameleone. It was a memorable moment when Chameleone was beckoned onto the stage at Rock Gardens during a performance. In a heartfelt message, King Michael expressed, ‘I’ve received your message, and I believe in you. You have a wealth of words and I know you can make it,’ he declared, captivating the audience during his performance,” said King Micheal.
