Police are hurting for 40-year-old Vincent Ssekanjako for allegedly murdering his 3-year-old, step-son, Muwanguzi Muyige, on March 26 as revenge, following separation from his mother.
According to Police Spokesman SCP Fred Enanga, the facts show that a man and woman, who lived together like husband and wife, had a fight on March 25. The wife found out her husband stole things from their house, so she left with her 3-year-old son to stay with a friend.
The next day, the husband asked her to come back home. He took the boy to buy soda but didn’t come back.
At around 10 pm, the mother got worried and told the community. They searched and found the boy’s body near their house. He was hit in the head with a sharp thing and died.
The stepfather is missing. Enanga said they’ll work hard to find him and make sure he faces the law for what he did. They won’t give up until he’s caught.
